American Easter
April 21, 2009This was Ashley’s first American Easter. Surprisingly, she was excited because she was familiar with some of our traditions. I guess missionaries would come every year at easter and do an egg hunt at the orphanage. She just lit up when I told her what we were gonna do. She said, “we do that in Haiti!” I don’t think they actually colored the eggs, so that was new and she especially liked that. Here are just some a few of the egg coloring festivities.
I got this egg spinner thing on clearance last year. Abra has been begging to use it for a year now. The girls loved it. No vinegar smell!!

Abra had to really put some muscle into it!

“Mom, this egg thing is really giving me a headache,” she said!

The end Result. Colored Perfection!

***ETA I’ve enabled comments now. So, leave me some love to see if it works! Thanks!
